The Psychedelic Era

The goal of this senior level project was to design promotional material for a fictional retrospective for an era of design at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.

Inspiration was drawn from the works of Wes Wilson and Victor Moscoso, both of whom incorporated distorted bubble typography and vibrating color combinations into their designs. The key art was created using scans of marbled paper and hand drawn words that were digitally manipulated and layered over each other.

The poster design was a prize winning entry at the Moravian College Fall Art Show.
