Firefly 2016

This poster was designed for the 2016 Firefly Music Festival Poster Contest. Guidelines were limited and only specified specific text be used and that imagery was somehow related to the annual Delaware festival.

This design features a two color vector firefly with an old style microphone for an abdomen as the hero image and a subtle forest scene as a background. The color scheme was kept exclusively to the festival’s brand colors and the simple yet textured imagery is roughed up to create a nostalgic, hand-printed esthetic.
